Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the SneakShield mobile application, referred to in this policy as the Application. The Application is provided by Appronomix, referred to in this policy as the Service Provider, as a free service and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use

The Application stores settings locally on your device so its privacy protection features can work properly. This local data may include onboarding status, Screen Guard settings, Tilt Guard settings, overlay direction, coverage, opacity, colors, angle ranges, response timing, and local activity log entries if created by the Application.

Local settings and local activity logs remain on your device unless Android backup services are enabled for your device account. You can delete this local data by clearing the Application's storage in Android settings or by uninstalling the Application.

The Application does not require an account, does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, videos, files, messages, or precise location, and does not use artificial intelligence technologies to process your data or provide features.

Automatically Collected Data

The Application uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app usage, diagnose crashes, monitor stability, and improve the Application. These services may collect and transmit data from the Application, including:

• App interactions, app screens, app sessions, and feature usage events.
• Crash logs, stack traces, diagnostics, app performance data, and device state at the time of a crash.
• Device and app information such as operating system version, device model, app version, Firebase installation ID, app instance ID, and Crashlytics installation UUID.
• Masked IP address information that may be used by Firebase Analytics to derive approximate location.
• Android Advertising ID if available to Firebase Analytics and not disabled by applicable configuration or user/device settings.

Data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit. Firebase processes this data according to Google's Firebase terms, policies, and documentation.

Permissions Used by the Application

The Application may request the following Android permissions:

• Draw Over Other Apps: used to display user-controlled privacy overlays above other apps. This permission is required for Screen Guard and Tilt Guard privacy protection features.
• Foreground Service: used so privacy protection can remain active while you use other apps. A persistent notification is shown while these services are running.
• Notifications: used to show service status and foreground-service notifications.
• Wake Lock: used to keep Tilt Guard protection responsive while the feature is enabled.
• Internet: used to support Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

The Application uses these permissions only for the features and services described above.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services:

• Google Analytics for Firebase
• Firebase Crashlytics

These services may process automatically collected data on behalf of the Service Provider. The Service Provider does not sell personal information collected through the Application.

Data Sharing

The Service Provider may share automatically collected data with service providers that help operate, analyze, and improve the Application. The Service Provider may also disclose data when required by law, to comply with legal process, to protect rights and safety, to investigate fraud or security issues, or to respond to a government request.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop future data collection by uninstalling the Application. You may also disable permissions such as Draw Over Other Apps and Notifications from Android settings. Disabling these permissions may prevent some Application features from working.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local Application settings and local app data are stored on your device for as long as the Application remains installed, unless you clear the Application's storage. Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained according to the retention settings and policies of Firebase and Google services used by the Service Provider.

To request deletion of data associated with your use of the Application that is within the Service Provider's control, contact appronomix@gmail.com.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 13. If the Service Provider learns that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete that information if it is within the Service Provider's control. Security

The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards appropriate to the Application's functionality. No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify users of changes by updating this policy with a new effective date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
